The Seattle Pediatric Positioning Chair by Ridge Imaging
The handcrafted oak chair gives you a flexible but secure platform to do C-spine, chest and other views. The child is secured in the chair with Velcro straps. Once secured in the chair, the seat can be rotated and locked into any of 4 positions. The seat is adjustable to 4 different heights depending on the patient age and type of exam.
The chair has been used in the imaging field for over 30 years. It is one of the best chairs on the market today for the ease of use and is patient/parent approved.
Patient immobilization is done gently but securely with Velcro straps for the wrist and waist.
The patient is secured only once: the chair seat rotates and can be locked in four 90-degree increments.
Patient is keep as close to the film/DR panel as possible to ensure high-quality images.
Works with any upright bucky or DR cabinet.
Clear acrylic backboard allows for better viewing of wall bucky/DR panel..
Adjustable Gonad/Ovarian shield for AP and Lateral protection.
